BC Is Going Purple on April 6th

Wear your purple all day next week – on April 6th – and join Boulder City in PAINTING THE TOWN PURPLE FOR THE CURE to show your support for the next month’s American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, which will be held on May 6th-7th.

Here’s some info about next month’s Relay and how you can support the cause:

Boulder City’s Relay for Life will be held on May 6th – 7th from 6pm – 6am at the Boulder City High School track.  At Relay, teams of people will camp out at a the track and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Because cancer never sleeps, the Relay is an overnight event and each team will have a representative on the track at all times.

With only 38 days left until the Relay, the American Cancer Society’s website shows that Boulder City has 21 teams registered online with 87 participants having raised at total of $9,599.85.  You can see the team list by clicking here and you can see the participant list by clicking here….plus, the DONATE NOW button is really accessible for each team and participant from those very pages!  You can join a team or create your own for only $10 (and a $100 donation will come with a t-shirt).

For more information on the teams, participants or to donate, you can visit the Boulder City page on the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life website by clicking here!
