They’ve been busy down at the Boulder City Library, creating virtual programs so that way you can still find new and interesting content, as well as offering their curbside drop-off and pick up. Here’s a list of them to take advantage of in the coming months. Enjoy!
- Virtual Storytimes – Each Friday at 10am: Virtual Storytime for ages 0-5 and caregivers. They last about a half an hour and are a fun way to read and learn from home! To join them, you go on their web site HERE. (https://www.gotomeet.me/bclibrary/drop-in-storytime)
- Mindful Hour – On Wednesdays at 4pm: Mindful Hour for teens and adults. It lasts for an hour and will teach you how to be mindful, which is incredibly important in a stressful time like a pandemic or the holidays. To join, visit HERE: (https://www.gotomeet.me/bclibrary/mindfulness-hour)
- Cook the Book Club – On the 3rd Thursday at 3pm: Join Samantha and Kayley to discuss making a recipe from a different book each month. It is a great way to learn about cooking with others and a great way to get some socialization. To join, visit HERE: (https://www.gotomeet.me/bclibrary/cook-the-book-club)
- On their YouTube Channel you can learn cooking basics with Sam and Kayley in the How Not to Burn Toast series. Kayley will teach you how to make different crafts in our Art Apart series. Gayle shows different artistic styles in the Art Starts Playlist. For younger children, we have Short Stories, Simply STEAM, and Storytimes. There is also Cursive Writing, Everyday Writing Workshops, and Get Ready to Read (early literacy videos for parents).
