It appears that Bill 1718 – the Smoke Free Ordinance’s – time might finally be upon us.
UPDATE: As of July 2nd, this has been pulled from the agenda, so there will now NOT be a discussion/decision on this bill.
Notice of Filing was posted on the City’s website on Friday that action will be taken at the July 9th meeting of the City Council of Boulder City.
Also, Arnold Knightly’s editorial in this last week’s Boulder City Review covers the topic and says the ordinance will be discussed before the council, which could then vote to implement the ordinance that night.
So if you want to hear or be heard on the topic — that’s where you’ll want to be at 7pm on July 9th. If you’d like to comment or read the comments on this topic — you can click here to read or join the conversation on the Facebook post!
