BCHS and Ballot Question #2

Skirting around the borderline of a political issue, Question 2 is one of the few ballot measures in the current election.

In case you aren’t familiar with Question 2, its passage would increase property taxes by $74/year per $100,000 in assessed value for homeowners in order to fund school improvements for 41 schools.

Boulder City High School
is one of the schools impacted by the measure and in fact, is one of the first two schools on the list that would receive the funds necessary to complete the “phased replacement” (if the measure is passed).

Nevada Week in Review devoted their entire 30 minute segment to the issue this past weekend and you can watch that video by clicking the image below or by clicking here. It’s a great way to hear both sizes of the issue and decide for yourself!
