BC’s First Amazon Hub Locker

Amazon Hub Locker Boulder City, Nevada

There’s a new option for people in town who shop from Amazon to safely receive their orders of items and also to send them back if need be.

Where is this? It’s at the Boulder City Co. Store in their merchandise area! That’s located at 525 Avenue B. here in town. Tara Bertoli tells us that the folks at Amazon say this should be programmed and ready to go in a few days!

How does this work, you may ask? It’s pretty simple. Now that you know this is here, you simply add that address above into your Amazon.com shipping profile. Then when you check out, simply choose that address as your delivery address in your profile, and like magic, your package will go to the locker, and just like with any other Amazon order, you’ll be notified when it’s there. You can learn more on the Amazon site HERE.

This is a great option for vacationers or folks who travel/live in their motor homes or spend their time down at Lake Mead, for example. Or…especially sadly at this time of the year when package thefts always seem to spike. If you don’t have a safe location at your home or way to easily secure a delivery when you’re not home – then this is a dream solution.

And, while there are certainly retail restrictions in place right now, it’s still a great moment to grab something hot to go, or get something else from our wonderful local Boulder City Co. Store!

We’ll hope this gets used as a great local solution for a common need. Well done, Tara!
