I always begin my Christmas shopping at Art in the Park. But not this year, of course.
We all know the importance this year more than ever, to SHOP LOCAL! As the sign says, “Buy Local, or Bye Local”. But don’t forget about your local artists and the Boulder City Art Guild located inside of the Boulder Dam Hotel, either!
Right now through the end of the month, most of their work is one sale for 10% Off for the Holidays. As you can see they have more than just paintings – there is glass work, jewelry, woodworking items, cards and other gift items along with of course a huge assortment of drawings and paintings. There was a carved set of deluxe salt and pepper grinders that caught my eye that I’ll be going back for.
So this is just a little extra reminder that this place is filled with the unique and special craft work made with care by your fellow citizens and neighbors. And there isn’t anything that says “Happy Holidays” to me more than supporting my friends and neighbors in doing something that they love. We’ll hope you check it out!
Hours are Monday – Saturday 10am – 4pm, Sunday 10am – 3pm.
