Boulder City Before it Was Boulder City

A good friend of ours, Bill Graff, sent us this photo a few months ago and we've been waiting for the right moment to share it.

So, we thought what better day or time than on New Year's Day for us to sneak back in time and honor our past by appreciating the very beginning of it all?

Check out the item below with the Associated Press Photo notes. According to the owner of the work, Bill, he tells us that the above Miss Antoinette Johnson was seated near what is now the water tower, overlooking what would shortly become our town site, and the original Boulder City. Thanks for sharing this gem Bill, and we hope you all enjoy!

Best wishes to all for a prosperous, healthy and happy 2023!
