Today is the ‘soft opening’ of The Boulder City Candy Company which looks to be a lot of fun for families, thanks to the assortment of products being pulled together by owner Lisa Savy! Lisa became a Boulder City resident about 5 years ago, and loves the community.
It’s located out at Red Mountain Plaza (near Roberto’s) at 1643 Boulder City Pkwy. Inspired by a business called Eddie World, out in Yermo, California, they have an assortment of games, stuffed animals, toys and of course sweets to suit almost every taste.
They are carrying the Teddy Mountain assortment of stuffed plush animals that you can stuff yourself and your little’s can buy outfits and all sorts of accessories for.
There’s also a large playhouse on the premises, and she has train sets from Lionel Trains, which are battery powered and easy to use. They also have educational toys from manufacturer Melissa and Doug. In other words…if you need a gift or a toy for a child either boy or girl – I think these guys have got you covered!
But now, let’s get to the good stuff, you say! They will have a huge assortment of candies, chocolates, peanut brittle, rocky road, toffee, creams and clusters of all kinds, and of course kid-loving gummies too.
They will also feature something really special, an assortment of goodies from Julie’s Gourmet Fudge, a Vegas made brand of fudge delights we can’t wait to try!
Hours are 11am – 7pm daily, and they are having a Ribbon Cutting ceremony next Monday, August 5th at 5:30. So…this weekend be sure to swing by and say hello and give this new business a big Boulder City Welcome!
