  • Ace Hardware, 541 Nevada Way
  • Boulder Dam Hotel, 1035 Arizona Street
  • Boulder City Chamber of Commerce, 100 Nevada Way

The theme of this year’s Chautauqua is Pushing the Envelope and will feature three pioneers of aviation: Ameila Earhart, Jackie Cochran, and Chuck Yeager. There will be three performances. Carol Starre-Kmiecik will portray Amelia Earhart on Friday, September 16 at 6:00PM. Nancy Hasty will be featured as Jackie Cochran on Saturday, September 17 at the 1:00PM matinee. Concluding the performances on Saturday night at 6:00PM, Doug Mishler will be portraying Chuck Yeager.

All performances will take place at Boulder Creek Golf Course Pavilion, located at 1501 Veterans Memorial Drive.

In addition to the character portrayals, there will be local musical acts performing. The Lenores will perform Friday night. Another act will perform before Saturday’s matinee. Prior to the Saturday evening concluding performance, local favorite Steve Cottrell will be performing.

There will also be a Meet and Greet Reception taking place on Thursday, September 15. You may request tickets to this popular event by sending a note to Boulder City Chautauqua at Post Office Box 61994, Boulder City, NV 89006-1994. You may also purchase tickets online at the group’s website by CLICKING HERE. The donation for this event is $40 per ticket.
