Congratulations to the BCHS Class of 2019!
And in it’s 29th year(!) the Boulder City Sunrise Rotary Club captured almost all of the just graduated senior class and took them out for a safe, alcohol-free night of fun-filled mayhem and activities! This year, after having a rousing couple of hours at the BC Rec. Center with an obstacle course, dance competition (Mike Pacini on hand – who else?), food and other good stuff, they were picked up and taken to the Circus Circus Adventure Dome. They were transported safely by bus with chaperones on the newest BC tour partner, the Boulder City Express – thanks for that folks! And then the kids went on rides, went roller-skating and this morning were safely brought back to Boulder City and delivered back into the custody of their parents.
Over 100 students were signed up this year. In addition to all of this crazy fun, they each received a gift bag of Coupons from local business. Plus, up for grabs is a $2,500 cash prize – the winner of which is Geri Wachtel!
Note, the Boulder City Sunrise Rotary Club does all the work putting this together for the kids, and are honored to do so. They are able to do this because of all of YOU who come to the Wurst Festival each and every year, the last Saturday in September for the Auction, Car Show and Beerfest that funds all of this. They couldn’t do this without all of the support from the Boulder City Community. Just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, doesn’t it? Again, Congratulations to the Class of 2019!
