Ages 0-5 Programs

• Tuesdays at 10:30AM Toddler Tuesday Storytime: Ages 1-3 and Caregiver. Join us for stories, songs, and a craft/coloring sheet. Board Room.


• Thursdays at 9:30AM Early Risers Lapsit Storytime: Ages 0-2 and Caregiver. Join us for stories and songs. Board Room.


• Fridays at 10:30AM Drop In Storytime: Ages 0-5 and Caregiver. Join us for stories, songs, and crafts. Board Room.


• Wednesday, June 3 at 11:30AM PBS Kids: Playtime through the Past-America 250 Preschool Workshop: Discover how children played long ago, explore toys from the past, and imagine how you could make your own today. Ages 4-6 and caregiver. Sign-ups required. Community Room.


• Tuesdays, June 9 and June 23 at 11:00AM Duplo Build & Play: directly following Toddler Tuesday Storytime. Children will play and build with Duplo. Ages 0-5 with caregiver. Board Room.


• Saturday, June 13 at 10:00AM Play and Learn Family Engagement- Pre K Readiness: Children ages 4-6 and their caregiver will rotate through a series of hands-on activities that target the skills necessary for success in school. Community Room.


• Saturday, June 13 at 10:00AM Preschool Exploration Essentials Kit Distribution: Families with children ages 3-4 can register for a free Preschool Exploration Essentials Kit to prepare your child for school. Distribution will take place Saturday June 13. Board Room


• Saturday, June 27 at 10:30AM Teddy Bear Sleepover: Let your stuffed animal explore the library overnight at our Teddy Bear Sleepover! One toy per child. Sign-ups required per child. Ages 0-5 & Parent/Caregiver. Community Room. Drop off is June 27 at 10:30AM. Community Room. Pick up is June 28 between 12:00PM and 5:00PM. Youth Department.

Ages 6-11 Programs

• Wednesday, June 3 at 3:30PM 3D Design Lab: A hands-on program for ages 11-14 introducing the basics of 3D design. This program is offered in two sessions; registration required and must attend both sessions on June 3 and July 1. Sign-ups required. Community Room.


• Wednesday, June 10 at 4:00PM STEAM Lab: Explore various STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, or Math) topics through hands-on activities. Ages 6-11. Community Room.


• Wednesday, June 17 at 1:30PM PBS KIDS: City Time Travelers- America 250 Elementary Workshop: Discover how Las Vegas has changed over time, imagine how cities grow, and explore what the future might hold. Ages 6-8 and caregiver. Sign-ups required. Community Room.


• Thursday, June 25 at 1:00PM Glyph-It: Petroglyph and Hieroglyph Crafts- Creating with Ancient Symbols: Explore the history of ancient writing and symbols with various crafts. Ages 7-17. Ages 10 and younger must have parent/caregiver in attendance for program duration. Community Room.

• Mondays at 3:00PM Roleplayers Guild- Dungeons & Dragons: Ages 12-17. Nevada Room.


• Wednesday, June 3 at 3:30PM 3D Design Lab: A hands-on program for ages 11-14 introducing the basics of 3D design. This program is offered in two sessions; registration required and patrons must attend both. Sign-ups required. Community Room.

• Saturday, June 6 at 10:30AM Las Vegas Natural History Museum Hour: Join us for a storytime and activity with the Las Vegas Natural History Museum; they'll also share information about the museum and all they offer. Combined Community & Board Room.


• Friday, June 12 at 1:00PM Jurassic June- Family Afternoon Movie: Join us for an afternoon showing of "We’re Back!- A Dinosaur Story" (PG). Combined Community & Board Room.


• Saturday, June 13 at 1:00PM Real Dinosaurs- DinoLAB: Join Real Dinosaurs for a hands-on science experience to learn about prehistoric animals, plants, and life! Sign-ups required for each child. Space/supplies are limited. Community Room.


• Saturday, June 20 at 1:00PM Crafting Fun for Father's Day: Join us to celebrate Father's Day with a variety of crafts to create and give as a gift! Community Room.


• Wednesday, June 24 at 10:30AM Ice Age Fossils State Park Storytime & Craft: Families, join us for Read with Ranger with Ice Age Fossils State Park. Enjoy an Ice Age themed story, craft, and learn about all the park has to offer. Community Room.


• Tuesday, June 30 at 3:30PM Crafting Fun for 250th Independence Day: Create your own craft creations to celebrate America 250! Community Room.

All Ages Programs

• Sunday, June 28 at 2:00PM Singing in the Stacks- Library Karaoke: From Country to Christmas, Metal to Musicals, Rock to Rap, Opera to Oldies, join us and sing your favorite songs. Beginners are Welcome! No registration required. Ages 8+. Combined Community & Board Room.

Ages 18+ Programs

• Tuesdays at 2:30PM Crochet for A Cause: Board Room.


• Mondays at 1:00PM Easy Does It Yoga: Relax and unwind. Please wear comfortable clothing. Use our mats, blocks, and straps, or bring your own! Ages 18+. Community Room.

Tech Teachers

• Tech Teacher APPOINTMENTS are available! To sign-up for a one-on-one time, please visit the information desk or call the library at 702-293-1281. Exclusions For Tech Teacher Include, But Are Not Limited To: Device repairs, device set-up, same day appointments, over the phone appointments, and/or multiple same week appointments. Tech Teachers are available- Tuesdays 1pm & 2pm, Wednesdays 12pm & 1pm and Thursdays 1pm & 2pm.
