We’re going to share with you what’s happening down at the Boulder City Library this October – but…did you know that during the 2017-18 Fiscal Year our little Library had 732 events! And that this is an increase of 60% from the same prior year!?! Now that’s a lot going on in our little town Library, don’t ya think! So the next time you’re there say a big Thank You to their staff!
Here are the highlights this month:
October 1st – 3:30pm Author Reading with Sophia Zhong: All Ages, Community Room. Learn how this bright young lady wrote her first novel while in elementary school!
October 10th – 5:30-7:30pm Library Open House: All Ages, Community Room. Come learn about the library and about plans for the future! Note, this is every important if you want to learn more about the plans the Library has for its proposed expansion, the funding of which we believe is up for a vote this fall. You can see a previous article we wrote talking about that HERE.
October 12th – 5:30pm After Hours Movie: Won’t You Be My Neighbor (PG-13): Ages 13+, Community Room.
October 20th – 1pm Virtual Vacation: Germany: Ages 13+, Community Room. Explore Germany on Google Earth XR.
October 26th – Closed in observance of Nevada Day.
