The Boulder City Lions Club will be hosting their 26th annual Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, November 12, 2022 beginning at 8:00AM. The tournament will be. held at the Boulder City Municipal Golf Course located at 1 Clubhouse Drive.
Golfers are welcome to register individually ($100 per golfer) or as a team ($400 per team). Registration begins at 7:00AM the day of the event with a shotgun start at 8:00AM. The price of registration includes the following package:
- Round of 18 holes
- Golf cart
- 2 beverage tickets per golfer
- Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Last Place
- Closest to the pin
- Longest Drive
- After party luncheon
- Raffle Prizes
The Lions are looking for sponsors for the tournament and offer several packages for those interested. From Presenting Sponsor ($2500) to Tee Sponsor ($150), there’s a package for every business budget. All of the proceeds benefit various Boulder City Lions Club outreach programs.
The Lions Club was founded in 1917. The Boulder City’s Lion Club was chartered in 1988, and since that time Lions have helped put eyeglasses and/or hearing devices on children, seniors, or disabled, who could not have acquired them without financial help.
In addition to helping the visually and hearing impaired, they provide scholarships for students by holding student speaker contests and peace poster contests.
They also support the Burn Center at University Medical Center, and provide diabetes and cancer screening awareness, just to name a few.
They assist these organizations with donations for sponsorships like the Charity Golf Tournament. They would like to continue serving these worthy causes in the Boulder City community, and appreciate the help of residents and businesses to achieve their goals.
The Boulder City Lions Club welcomes new members as well. The group meets at 7:30AM on the first Wednesday of the month at Faith Christian Church, located at 1100 Buchanan Boulevard.
