Boulder City Politics Calling Your Name?

City Hall in Boulder City, NevadaThink I should run for office? My platform would be to have soda flowing from the public drinking fountain in Bicentennial Park…

Okay, maybe not. But if you have been bitten by the political bug, candidate filings for the 2013 Municipal Elections will begin on Tuesday, January 22nd and run through January 31st at the City Clerk’s office.

There are two Council member seats up for election…those currently held by Duncan McCoy and Cam Walker. I don’t know if either of them are planning to run for re-election (since we know that politics make me run screaming for the hills) – but looks like we’ll know next week!
