A recent article by Business Insider indicated that the City of Boulder City could be a big winner when it comes to tourists and their travel plans! With prices skyrocketing on the Strip, many are looking to more affordable options here. Priceline noted the average nightly cost for a hotel room on the Strip is $376 per night, a 70% increase over last year. Meanwhile, an average room in Boulder City costs just $110 per night.
In addition to hotel customers, the city can expect to see visitors to local restaurants, shops, and adventures. Another financial plus to the city is the use of the city’s Municipal Airport for small private aircraft unable to find spots in Henderson and Las Vegas.
