Well, this is an awesome development this year…the recycling of Christmas trees will now be available in Boulder City!
Christmas trees can be dropped off for free recycling between December 26 and January 15 at the Bravo Ball Field parking lot (located at the corner of Avenue B and Sixth Street – south of the public pool and racquetball complex). You can check out a map of the exact location by clicking here.
Recycled trees will be chipped into mulch, so Public Works asks that you please remove all non-organic objects such as lights, wire, tinsel, ornaments and nails. Foreign objects contaminate the mulch and damage the chipper. Trees that have artificial snow on them cannot be recycled.
Go, Clean Green Boulder City!
