Briar Huff Memorial Train Ride Scheduled

As many of you know, Las Vegas Metropolitan Officer and former Boulder City Court Marshal, Briar Huff, passed away recently while vacationing with her family in Mexico. She was also the beloved wife of current Boulder City Police Department Officer Todd Huff. In her honor, the Nevada Southern Railroad is hosting two train rides in her honor, with the proceeds going to her husband and son. These rides will take place on Friday, February 11th. There will be two rides: one at 5:00PM and the other at 7:00PM and last approximately one hour. Tickets are $20 minimum donation and a $5 handling fee per ticket. The location is 600 Yucca Street.
Tickets must be purchased online from the Nevada Southern Railroad website HERE. Additional donations will be accepted by Boulder City Police Department on her behalf, to benefit her family, at the event.
For those who wish to donate, but can't make it to the event, checks should be made out to “Friends of the Boulder City Police Department". Be sure to note your donation is for the Huff Family. They can be dropped off or mailed to Sergeant Tomao at Boulder City Police Department, 1005 Arizona Street, Boulder City, NV 89005. Alternately, checks made payable to the same organization can be dropped off or mailed to John Chase at Amerisent Insurance. The address is 100 Nevada Way, Suite 108, Boulder City, NV 89005. Mr. Chase is president of the group.
Seating is limited so please be sure to purchase your tickets soon. We hope to see many of you out there supporting Briar's family, friends, colleagues and associates as they come to terms with this immeasurable loss.
