Vegas born born and raised brothers Tyler and Chris Donnelly are cleaning up in the automotive service industry and they want to thank you for your patronage. Now residents of Boulder City, they have opened not one, BUT TWO, automotive service shops here in their new hometown. While the COVID-19 slowdown saw many businesses struggling, the two brothers decided to turn the pandemic upside down and use it as an opportunity to finally realize their dreams.
Chris spent many years managing car washes in Las Vegas before deciding to open his own mobile detailing business. The evolution of his career path led him, along with his wife, Alexis, to open a shop, where they would be able to offer more services to their customers. Vegas Auto Spa was born last summer. In addition to custom auto detailing, Chris found another source of income pressure washing concrete in front of local residences and businesses. As another service, Chris also offers the highly popular ceramic coating treatments we’ve been seeing everywhere.
Tyler, a journeyman iron worker, simply needed a sign it was time to achieve his dream and pandemic conditions allowed for that. Tyler and his wife, Chelsea, opened VAS Customs Auto and Marine last summer too. His previous background working in various auto and marine shops have served him well in their new endeavor. Along the way, they’ve picked up some great clients, including Dan Fox, the owner of the famous Fox Family BBQ here in town. His shop offers tune ups, oil changes, as well as the coolest custom work like this. You can even book appointments from their Facebook page.
Between the two brothers, you get a full-service experience. We won’t be surprised to see them show up on the famous Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auctions at some point. Yes, their work is THAT GOOD.
The Donnellys want to give back to the community so they are hosting a Grand Opening at their shop on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 10:00AM to 5:00PM. The shops are located at 708 Canyon Road. Not only will 102.7 The Coyote be broadcasting live from the event, the Monster Energy Girls will be there with drinks to hand out to attendees. You will be able to see some of the cool cars and boats the brothers have worked on at the business.
