We ran into this adorable new store in town in the plaza by Yo’s Cleaners and Village Floral, next to Tom Devlin’s Monster Museum, the other day and we’re excited to share it with all of you! Please welcome Becky Misa of the Little Busy Bee Shoppe! Located at 1306 Boulder City Parkway, you’ll see that the cute little grey cottage in the front of the parking lot has never looked better!
Becky opened in December but then was out two weeks ill with a bug (as many of us were) so we had missed her until now. She hand crafts or embellishes everything in her store. There are these amazing hand-made denim purses we loved, along with bracelets, embellished hats, pens and bling galore on almost anything you can imagine. Becky tells us she fell into this a number of years ago when she attended a craft fair and was looking at beaded bracelets and decided she could do her own as well or better. Now with thousands of beads to her collection what began as a hobby became a wanted demand that she is turning into a business.
