Call for Artists: Leave Your Mark on Boulder City

Main Street Boulder City, in conjunction with the City of Boulder City, is seeking artists to transform utility boxes in the City's Historic District into works of art. It's a volunteer public art opportunity but selected artists will receive the following:

• Paint and supplies needed to create the artwork


• Artist recognition with a plaque on the electrical box


• Recognition on the Main Street Boulder City website


• Social media and media recognition

The plan is to create some really cool public art for residents and visitors to enjoy and to celebrate the unique charm of Boulder City. Suggested themes include:

• Boulder City history


• Hoover Dam and historic landmarks


• Desert wildlife


• Native plants and cactus


• Lake Mead and Nevada landscapes

Artists must submit their information HERE by Wednesday, April 15. Artists from Boulder City and the surrounding areas are welcome to apply. Artist selections will be announced April 30, 2026 with the project expected to be complete by May 31, 2026.
