WHAT: The Boulder City Community Education Advisory Board (CEAB) is once again hosting the Run for Education to raise money to fund grants for Boulder City teachers to use for the education of our children.
WHERE: The race will take place in conjunction with the Best Dam Barbecue and it will start and finish from the corner of Utah and Colorado St., right in the center of all the Best Dam Barbecue Challenge activities!
WHEN: The run will be on Saturday, May 28th at 8:00am.
RACE DAY SCHEDULE:
7:00am – Registration Opens
7:45am – Registration Closes
8:00am – Shot Gun Start
8:30am – Awards Ceremony Begins
REGISTRATION BY MAIL: Pre-registration (paper copy) applications must be received into M.P. King Elementary School by 3:00pm on Friday, May 20th, 2011. The mailing address is: CEAB c/o M.P. King Elementary, 888 Adams Blvd., Boulder City, NV 89005. Pre-registration packets can be picked up on Friday, May 27th from 3:30pm – 4:30pm at M.P. King Elementary School. ONLINE REGISTRATION: If you would like to compete in the 2011 CEAB Run for Education, you may REGISTER ONLINE by clicking here…online registration will continue until midnight on Thursday, May 26th.
RACE DAY REGISTRATION: Registration on the day of the event will begin at 7:00am at the event site. Online Registration will continue until midnight on Thursday, May 26th.
AWARDS: Top three overall finishes of the 5K Run and three deep in all age divisions of the 5K and First Place in the 1 Mile Fun Walk.
