Front-Line Ambassador Training available to all
The Front-Line Ambassador Training Program beginning in January 2018 and sponsored by the Boulder City Chamber of Commerce is open to all Boulder City businesses. This program is complementary to Chamber members and available to any interested, future-member businesses for a $10/person fee which the business can put toward the cost of joining the Chamber. The goal of this training is to enhance customer service in Boulder City and keep our visitors, tourists, and local patrons looking to Boulder City for wonderful “world-away” experiences.
The Front-Line Ambassadors are the key to assisting tourists and visitors in Boulder City with suggestions of ways to improve and enhance their stay with us. When the Front-Line Ambassadors have the resources they need to share Boulder City’s story with those visiting, their stay no longer becomes a quick pass thru town, it becomes a memorable experience, and one they cannot wait to share with others.
The Chamber will host informative sessions that introduce business staff members to the insights they need in answering questions, providing suggestions, and giving directions to key tourist locations, places to visit, things to do, and things to see. When they leave the one-hour session, they will walk away with a one-sheet of all the ideas shared, as well as a new sense of their community and all it has to offer.
The Chamber knows service work is stressful. The Ambassador training also includes health-related topics like stress reduction; disaster preparedness; how to use an AED and provide hands-only CPR; the health resources available in Boulder City; and safety tips for outdoor, desert adventure seekers.
