Most of you probably know what we told you about HERE a few months ago, that as of July 1st, the local Nevada Welcome Center closed this location due to budget cuts, and the parking lot is now blocked off.
So…what’s happening with that? We’re hearing from Jill Lagan, CEO for the Boulder City Chamber of Commerce that they are planning to incorporate quite a bit of the same information and services that were available at the Welcome Center into their office.
It’s going to take them a couple of months to complete, but it’s nice to see us pivot and still potentially get those travelers into downtown, and capitalize on that business for the city. We’ll keep you posted on their progress!
