UPDATE: Edited to include links to City’s YouTube video of the City Council meeting and the City’s website, where the project is outlined in detail.
Last night, the City Council approved the plan to reconstruct Nevada Way, from Wyoming Street to Arizona Street. This project will consist of replacing damaged roadway, upgrading water connections to current standards, installing backflow prevention devices where needed, adding additional ADA-compliant parking and walkway, and reconfiguring the parking in the area. After some discussion, the Council approved Option 2A with respect to the parking alignment. Construction is expected to begin in early July and continue for a few months.
