Monday the 4th was the Mayoral Candidate Forum at 6pm at the Elaine K. Smith Building, which we told you about HERE.
But…that’s just part of the Primary Election decisions we’ll be voting on, the City Council has 2 seats up for grabs, and 8 candidates running to fill those slots!
So be sure to add this date to your calendars! On Wednesday, March 13th at 6:00 pm also at the Elaine K. Smith Building (700 Wyoming Street) will be the City Council Candidate Forum. We’re assuming it will be in a similar format as the Mayor’s Candidate Forum, just with more candidates to hear from. A few other important dates to note:
- March 6 to 12th – Final days to register to vote for the Primary Election
- March 20 to 23rd – Early Voting for Primary Election
- April 2, 2019 – PRIMARY ELECTION DAY
- June 11, 2019 – GENERAL ELECTION DAY
