City Council Candidates Answer Questions from Our Readers

In collaboration with Roger Gros of Boulder City Podcast, we recently hosted a live podcast taping at the Elaine K Smith Building on Monday, October 12th. We invited all the city council candidates to attend, and all enthusiastically accepted the invitation. Due to a family emergency, challenger Adam Schultheis could not attend the taping. Therefore, only 3 candidates participated in the podcast.
The candidates introduced themselves to approximately sixty people present at the session recording. During the event, moderator and podcast host Roger Gros asked many questions that had been submitted by our readers. Everyone was given two minutes in which to give an answer to the question posed. Our readers asked some great questions! Of course, there were data center questions, but also questions about budgeting, voting districts, boycotts, and more.
We are providing this information for our readers as many get ready to head to the polls this week or on Election Day, November 3, 2026. For more information on Early Voting, click HERE. You can vote early in Boulder City thru Wednesday, October 21st. For Election Day Voting Centers, click the Clark County’s voting information website HERE. You may also drop off mail-in ballots at these approved locations, when available.
