The City of Boulder City is weighing two options for using the City’s treated wastewater. At the March 14 City Council meeting the following two options were to be explored by City staff to report back to the City Council.
- Option 2: Direct Reuse (to irrigate City golf courses, parks and industrial use)
- Option 3: Return to Lake Mead via a Recharge Well
The City announced: “Residents are invited to a staff-led discussion to review these two options and to learn more about the next steps in the process. The discussion is scheduled for Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at the Elaine K. Smith Building, 700 Wyoming Street in Boulder City. Visit www.bcnv.org/Water for details on the options and Boulder City’s efforts to date. (This presentation is in-person only and will not be live-streamed.)”
We have previously covered the subject in depth. You are invited to read our previous posts below to get more information about the wastewater options.
