Colorado River’s 50 Year Lifespan Projection

Here’s a worrisome number…a recent study by the Federal Bureau of Reclamation warns that within the next 50 years, the Colorado River will no longer be able to provide water to the seven states that rely on it.  Click here to read the article on Yahoo.

On that note, we’re seriously looking at going 100% desert landscaping at my house – front and back, so we won’t be helping out with “clean, green” part of the Boulder City mantra much longer!
