Conditional Job Offer Extended

The City recently announced the extension of a conditional job offer to Tami McKay, the Acting City Clerk. The unanimous City Council decision was made during a Special City Council meeting on Tuesday, June 1. Ms. McKay, a longtime city employee, has been in the role since February 2021. Her career with the city began in 1991 at the Boulder City Fire Department. Ms. McKay is a Certified Master Municipal Clerk and Certified Public Official. She is a graduate of Boulder City High School. Ms. McKay offered this statement on her appointment: “I am excited to start this new chapter in my career. I’m thankful to the Mayor and Council for their support. I look forward to serving the Council, the staff and the community.
