Oh boy, have we been waiting and wanting to deliver this news to the residents of Boulder City: our beloved Damboree is back!! The fun kicks off on Saturday, July 3rd, with the traditional pancake breakfast by the Boulder City Rotary at Bicentennial Park (on Colorado Street, near City Hall). Following will be the flyover by the Boulder City Veterans Flying Group. Then at 9:00AM, the fabulous parade will begin, following the traditional parade route. Remember, the water zone is at the end of the parade route and no water balloons are allowed. The day’s festivities conclude with the Coin Toss at the Municipal Pool (861 Avenue B in Broadbent Park).
Sunday, July 4th the holiday events continue with activities down at Veterans Memorial Park (1650 Buchanan Boulevard) beginning at 4:00PM. There will be music by Boulder City’s favorite DJ, Mike Pacini. The Splash Park will be open and there will be food and games available. The cost is only $10.00 per vehicle. The evening will also feature the fireworks show the Damboree Committee is famous for and the night will conclude with more music by DJ Mike Pacini.
If you’re interested in entering the parade, you can click here for an application. Please note the deadline for submitting your application and fees is June 21, 2021. For further inquiries contact the Damboree Committee.
We know we aren’ t the only ones who are so thankful for the Damboree Committee and all of the hard work and effort that goes into putting on this event every year, especially with the short notice this year. You all rock! Enjoy the holiday weekend with family and friends and delight in the small town charm Boulder City is so well known for.
