She’s a fun kindergarten teacher at Josh Stevens Elementary School by day, and an busy entrepreneur the rest of the time. Her name is Chelsea Donnelly and she’s the proud owner of her own pop up boutique called Dandelion Wishes. Chelsea and her husband, Tyler, are also expecting a child early next year so it’s no lie that Chelsea’s got her hands full right now! Did we mention she also has a new pup, Jax? This is the busy season for shops like hers, with different events happening nearly every weekend until after the holidays! You may have seen her at the most recent Wine Walk or at last year’s Jingle Jam. Chelsea’s on the move constantly and picking up new customers every day!
She decided to open her boutique when she noticed that there weren’t any similar businesses in Boulder City. She wanted to sell special, trendy, and unique items that aren’t found in brick and mortar stores. Her exclusive stock consists mainly of clothing, jewelry, sunglasses, and bags – basically all the things a woman needs to make a statement and feel good about herself!
She started her business on September 30, 2022 and will be celebrating her one-year anniversary at the end of the month with a special sale. Make sure to mark your calendars for the 30th from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at 1316 Darlene Way. She will have all kinds of deals to celebrate and she hopes to see many of her current customers, as well as greet some new ones too! You can stop by, check out the merchandise, have a snack or a glass of wine, and earn fun prizes!
If you can’t make the anniversary sale, she will also have a spot at Art in the Park along Arizona Street, near the police department. That pop up will feature creations all handmade by Chelsea!
The nice thing about owning a pop up boutique Chelsea tells us is that she can take her merchandise to her customers, rather than them finding her. As she continues to grow her business, she hopes to travel to festivals and events in surrounding states like California and Utah.
You can’t miss her distinctive black trailer with the white and pink interior, all lovingly built by her husband, Tyler. There’s even a dressing room to try on clothes to make sure they fit before purchase. It’s an adorable little store! You can find out more about Chelsea and her business at her website HERE. She also has a Facebook page HERE and Instagram account HERE. Make sure you go sign up at her website to stay informed about where she’s going to pop up next!
