One of our peeps living nearby reported that there was an officer-involved shooting near Fifth & Avenue A last night and indeed, it was the top story on Fox 5 Vegas News’ 6am broadcast this morning.
The news reporter on scene said it happened around 10:30pm, after police responded to a report of shots having been fired. When they arrived, a male came out of the apartment with a gun and began firing at police, so shots were returned and the man subsequently died.
