Boulder City’s very own dog park opened back in April and See Spot Run reports that it has been in steady use since then, particularly on cooler days, as well as in the early morning and evening hours on hotter days.
Patrons have donated doggy drinking water pails, which are located near the water spigots near the entry to the Any Sized dog area.
Expenses are kept to a minimum at See Spot Run Dog Park. Volunteers are needed to empty the trash, refill waste bag dispensers, pull weeds and do general maintenance work at the park. In fact, they are having a Dog Park Clean-Up Day this coming Saturday, July 23rd from 7:00am – 9:00am and are looking for volunteers to help clean up the park and dispose of prickly tumbleweeds.
Please bring heavy work gloves and don’t forget to wear a hat…they’ll bring the ice water to keep you going!
