Don’t forget that there will be a planned power outage between midnight and 4am tonight (Saturday, March 30th)!
A city memo issued a few weeks ago reported that the Boulder City Electric Division would be installing equipment that will require shutting off service to most of the western and northern portions of the City for a period of approximately four hours (again, between midnight and 4am on Saturday, March 30th).
Scroll down to see a map of the affected areas (bordered in RED), which are described as:
Zone 1: Hemenway Valley – all customers north of Lakeview Drive, with exception of the Lakeview Park subdivision.
Zone 2: Industrial Road area – with the exception of the National Park Service Facility, all customers west and north of US-93, south of Katzenbach Drive/Sandpiper Way, and east of Veterans Memorial Drive.
Zone 3: South of US-93 – all customers west of Von’s Plaza and east of Veterans Memorial Drive, between US-93 and Adams Boulevard.
Roadway lighting will be out in the affected areas, but the traffic light at Nevada Way and Buchanan will remain in service.
Critical communications facilities in Boulder City, including 911 service and police and fire radios, will not be affected.
