Draft Facility Master Plan Meeting to be Hosted by CCSD

The Clark County School District (CCSD) will be hosting a meeting concerning the District's Facility Master Plan on Wednesday, April 1 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Boulder City High School. The Facility Master Plan addresses building needs for the four schools here in Boulder City. Due to lowered enrollment figures at most of the schools, CCSD is seeking feedback from the community on the school facilities. Four options are currently being considered for the Boulder City schools:

The options are as follows:

Option A

• Status Quo, all four schools remain as-is

Proposed Option B

• Replace AJ Mitchell (Pre K-2) and MP King (3-5) Elementary Schools with new, merged facility


• EM Garrett Middle School (6-8) and Boulder City High School (9-12) remain as-is

Proposed Option C

• Replace AJ Mitchell (Pre K-2) and MP King (3-5) Elementary Schools with new, merged facility


• Move EM Garrett Middle School (6-8) students into Boulder City High School (9-12)

Proposed Option D

• Develop a plan based on stakeholder feedback
