There’s a couple of big (but good) changes to the way voting in Boulder City is done, starting with this coming election season in that “polling places” have been replaced with “vote centers”.
In prior years, voters were assigned a specific ‘polling place’ and that’s the one location where they could vote. Beginning with the 2017 Primary Election (April 4th, 2017), voters will be able to go to EITHER Vote Center, depending on what is more familiar and convenient for them.
Vote Centers will be located at the Boulder City Recreation Center (900 Arizona St.) and Martha P. King Elementary School (888 Adams Blvd.). Please note that Garrett Jr. High is NOT a vote center or polling location – so DO NOT go there (or to City Hall) on election day to vote.
EARLY VOTING will take place at City Hall from March 22nd – 25th, 2017 and as with the new Voting Center system, all voters may cast their ballots there during those dates.
