Eby Iron is Your Local Iron Fabricator

Founded in 2009, Eby Iron Designs has grown from a small venture into a thriving business with 33 employees. The company's journey began with Mike Eby's passion for welding and a dream of working independently. Over the years, Eby Iron Designs has built a reputation for excellence in both commercial and residential projects. Mike, a class of 1998 Boulder City High School alum, is a long time resident of Boulder City, briefly moving away, before returning with his family in 2024.

The story of Eby Iron Designs started in 2009 when Mike, driven by a desire to work for himself, began the business after obtaining a contractor's license and purchasing essential equipment and machinery. His dedication to the craft was evident from his early years, having earned a welding certification during his junior year in high school and working 40 hours a week in his senior year, in addition to attending school.

In April 2024, Eby Iron Designs relocated to Boulder City, taking advantage of the cheaper commercial real estate available. This move allowed the company to expand its operations and cater to a broader market.

Eby Iron Designs offers a wide range of services, including automated fencing and gates, residential custom security, CNC and plasma cutting, and more. The company also provides specialized services such as tree guards, handrails, and wrought iron work. While powder coating is subcontracted, the company ensures top-notch quality in all its projects. You may have encountered his exceptional work if you've been to Boulder City Cemetery recently. The landscape and damaged masonry rock was replaced with a beautiful wrought iron fence by Eby Iron Designs. The company also crafted the large iron cutout of John Dillinger for the Dillinger restaurant.

Eby Iron Designs is not just a business; it's a family. Mike's commitment to treating employees like family has fostered a supportive and collaborative work environment. The company also gives back to the community by giving a 10% discount to members of the military, supporting local goodwill initiatives, and sponsoring various events. You'll often find Mike towing floats in local parades in support of his children and other special causes.

Mike's personal life is intertwined with the business. He and his wife, Deliz, a schoolteacher, have been married for 18 year. They have two children, Anthony and Olivia. The family enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, dirt biking, and spending time at their cabin in Duck Creek.

Mike noted that he is happy to work with local residents on their projects, providing the best pricing and customer service. With a strong foundation and a commitment to quality, Eby Iron Designs continues to grow and thrive. The company's dedication to excellence and community values ensures that they will always have work and remain a trusted name in the industry.
