Election Day is Today!

Today is Election Day and your chance to let your voice be heard on a number of candidates and issues. There are federal, state, and local candidates vying for positions and a few state and local initiatives on the ballot today. You will also find a number of judicial candidates on your ballot this year for various Nevada courts.

Today, you may vote in person at any Clark County Voting Center, including one of the two centers here in Boulder City. They are located at the Boulder City Parks and Recreation Building at 900 Arizona Street or at MP King Elementary School at 888 Adams Boulevard. Both locations also have secure ballot boxes for you to take your completed mail-in ballot to deposit. These locations are open until 7:00PM. If you are in line at 7:00PM, stay in line as you are allowed to vote.

Mail-in ballots can also be mailed, but they must be postmarked TODAY so make sure you know when mail is handled at your preferred location.

Results will begin being posted across the state beginning at 7:00PM, when the polls officially close. We are expecting close races here in Boulder City so it may be a couple days before we have a good idea of the prevailing vote. This is not unusual. You can follow election night results HERE from the Clark County Registrar or HERE from the Nevada Secretary of State.

Go vote!
