Copper Mountain is manning food donation tables at Albertsons (both inside and outside of the store) this coming Saturday, November 17th from 8am – 3pm, so come on out and meet them!
Both Albertsons and Copper Mountain support Boulder City quite a bit through donations to help fund some of your favorite events, btw – so supporting their food drive would be a really nice way for us all to say thanks in addition to helping Emergency Aid, I’m just sayin’.
It’s that time of year when Emergency Aid could use a hand stocking their shelves for the holidays, so I thought I’d reprint a list from last year about the most helpful items you can donate:
Emergency Aid Top 10 Staples List
- Canned Chili
- Canned Tuna (packed in water)
- Cereal (of any kind)
- Peanut Butter
- Spaghetti Sauce
- Chef-Boy-Ardee products
- Jam or Jelly
- Pancake Mix and/or Syrup
- Cheese and/or Dairy Products (they seldom get donations of these items)
- Diapers and Paper Products (i.e. toilet paper)
