Did you find an orange bag on your doorstep this week? Yep — it’s a great opportunity to re-organize your pantry AND support Emergency Aid, our local Boulder City food bank!
Food items MOST requested are canned meats, soups, pasta, canned fruits and vegetables, hot and cold cereal, baby food, diapers, and personal hygiene items.
You can put any non-perishable items you can spare in your your bag (no glass, please) and place it in front of your home where it can easily be seen. Your donation will be picked up between 10am and 1pm…and if it isn’t picked up by 1pm, please call 702-371-5153 and they’ll arrange a special pickup.
The Boulder City congregations of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are the ones organizing this drive and putting in all the labor…so props to them for undertaking this project and helping restock the shelves at Emergency Aid!
