Boulder Dam Credit Union‘s newspaper ad included something about Emergency Aid that I want to help pass along to everyone. Here it is for ya:
“In recent weeks it has been brought to our attention that, due to an unfortunate high demand, Emergency Aid of Boulder City is running perilously low on funds to help families in need.
In addition to the food pantry that Emergency Aid administers, they also provide help with rent assistance as well as utility bills for those at risk of losing their heat and water. It is these funds that are in desperate need of replenishment.
If you are interested in contributing financial assistance or your time (also a great need over the next 45 days) you can contact Emergency Aid directly at 293-0332.
Families or individuals who believe they are eligible to participate should immediately contact the Emergency Aid office at 600 Nevada Way. That office is open from 9:00am until 12:00pm Monday through Friday.”
