Even those of us who try to be diligent about taking our reusable bags into the grocery store manage to end up with an overwhelming supply of plastic bags, it seems.
Yes, you can usually find a recycling bin at most grocery stores and drop your “bag o’ bags” off there, but don’t forget that Boulder City Emergency Aid is almost always in desperate need of plastic bags for their food pantry – so that bag could get another use before getting recycled!
You can drop your used plastic bags directly at Emergency Aid during their open hours (Monday – Friday from 9am – 12pm) – but you can also drop them off just inside the lobby door at the Boulder City Library (right by the check-out counter) — just put them in the box available for food donations!
