Evan Klouse and the motley crew of Boy Scout Troop 7 (along with a few volunteers) have been working on See Spot Run’s Dog Park lately as part of Evan’s Eagle Scout project
I met Evan when he came by my house to pick up one of the fire hydrants that had been donated to the dog park by one of my neighbors, John & Paula Daily, so I made sure to get down to the dog park and get photos of the project for ya.
The Boulder City Review reported that some local businesses donated to the project — so let’s give some props to True Value Home Hardware & Variety of Boulder City, Oscar Runion and Professional Pet Room and Groom, along with the other folks to helped out.
Along with the fire hydrants that needed to be cleaned and repainted — the volunteers laid a 18 engraved pavers at the entrance gate. Buying an engraved paver stone is one of the ways you can help support the dog park — there are flyers about this fundraising effort in a pamphlet box right there at the entry to the dog park…so if you’re looking for a way to support the park in a permanent way — this is a good one!
Here’s some photos of the pavers and hydrants for ya:
