With the departure of the triple digits in heat (or so the weatherman promised on the news last night), the mandatory watering restrictions for Fall are once again in effect (as of just over a week ago – Sept. 1st, to be exact) and they’ll run until October 31st.
The Southern Nevada Water Authority’s website says that the watering restrictions limit landscape irrigation to three assigned day per week now AND that this also applied to drip irrigation.
If you can’t remember what group you are in — you can check your water bill to find it out — but you can also use SNWA’s handy tool to verify your group by entering your address here.
- For Groups A, C and E — you can water on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
- For Groups B, D and F — you can water on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
[Sunday is NOT an optional watering day]
