Today’s Fan Photo was taken by Vickie Center at Hemenway Park with beautiful Lake Mead in the background. A herd of Bighorn Sheep, decided to enjoy the pleasant weather with a picnic in the park. Some of the sheep are wearing health monitor collars. Think of them as fitness trackers, but for sheep! We have more about that program HERE. The Bighorn Sheep at Hemenway Park are a popular attraction, but it’s important to remember they are wildlife and should be treated as such. Do not attempt to feed or pet the sheep. Admiring them from a safe distance is best!
