Wow! We really don’t have any more words to describe this incredible photography by our fan, Michelle Peterson. We’ll let her tell us about the photo she snapped last Sunday:
The photo of “The Comet of the Century” taken 10/13/24 at Veterans Memorial Park pond.
I went out to walk a few laps at the pond and this caught my attention. I had no idea I was in for such a treat!
“Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS), called “The Comet of the Century,” will be most visible in the southwestern evening sky from Oct. 12 through Oct. 19, rising higher in the sky with each passing day.” -Reno Gazette
