Fan Photo: Flashback to 1950’s at The Library

Fan Photo Library 1950's Jim Widner Boulder City, NV

In case you didn’t know…September is International Literacy Month (a special Literacy Day on September 8th just passed) so we got to thinking about this classic photo that our friend Jim Widner (no relation to us, we swear!) sent us a while back.

We’re not actually sure if this is the main Boulder City Library at the time or one of the school libraries, but it doesn’t really matter we guess. They sure do look like mostly happy little youth’s with their books. Maybe we’ll have some readers enlighten us with more details, but regardless, enjoy the reminder on the importance of child literacy.

To share your photos with us, you can send them in anytime on our web site HERE. Thanks to all the folks who’ve sent in photos and to all of you for following us!
