Fan Photo: National Hug a Drummer Day

We live for holidays of all sorts around here. Whether it's National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day (August 4) or Talk Like a Pirate Day (September 19) or even National Exercise Day (April 18), there's always a reason to celebrate!!

Today happens to be Hug a Drummer Day and we couldn't help but think of our good friend Sandy Nelson. In the photo above, he's jamming with KR Farrell at the Forge Social House around 2016. And while Sandy left us last year, that doesn't mean we can't appreciate his talent and career to this day. If you know a drummer, hug a drummer! Meanwhile, let's appreciate one of the best to do it by looking back at the life and career of the immortal Sander Lloyd Nelson by clicking HERE.
