Fathers Play an Important Role in Boulder City

Whether high scaling at the Dam or modeling aprons for the local PTA, fathers played a pivotal role in the development of Boulder City. Fathers brought their families here in search of work, and found it, right here. Babies were born and children were raised in tents in what is now Boulder City. Families moved into brand new dingbat houses along the avenues, some lived in homes built by their fathers. Community events took place and fathers were there to admire the accomplishments of their children. Fathers were the hardworking backbone of early Boulder City.

Fathers are still an integral part of childhood and beyond. They lend advice when needed, dispense discipline when warranted, and look after their children with love and affection. We wish all the fathers of Boulder City a happy day surrounded by the people they love.
