We admit that we don’t report a ton on state-wide news or issues, but when it comes to saving us a rare buck or two – we had to make sure you all saw this.
Coming to your mailbox soon is this form – and it looks like your normal property tax statement – but its not!
Take just a few minutes and be sure you fill out the form and mail it back in (you will need to add your own postage) and it appears this is the only way to do this. There were no online forms that we could find.
But it’s important to mail it in, as it caps your personal property taxes for the 2018-19 tax year at 3%. If you don’t fill out the form then you miss this opportunity!
There’s more information and details on the state’s web site HERE, as well as a phone number to call if you have additional questions, at 702-455-3882.
